Summer 2027 Admissions Are Open: Explore Your Future Major at World-Renowned Universities

Choosing a university major is one of the most important decisions students make when planning their academic future. But how can students discover which field truly interests them before committing to a degree?

Thames Education Expert is opening admissions for Summer School 2027, offering students the opportunity to explore their intended major, learn from experienced professors, and gain insights into professional industries through an international summer program.

Designed for students who want more than a typical holiday abroad, this experience connects academic exploration with future university and career goals.

1. Explore Programs Based on Your Intended Major

Not every student has the same academic interests or future ambitions. That is why a major-based summer program can help students explore subjects that align with their individual goals.

From business and engineering to medicine, the arts, and other fields, students can discover what studying their intended major may involve.

By experiencing subject-focused learning before university, students can begin to understand their interests, identify areas they want to develop, and make more informed decisions about their future studies.

2. Learn from Professors at Leading Universities

Learning in an international academic environment can offer a fresh perspective on a student’s chosen field.

Through programs featuring guidance from university professors, students can gain exposure to new ideas, academic discussions, and subject-specific insights. This experience can help them better understand the expectations and learning approaches associated with higher education.

It is also an opportunity to explore university-level learning while building confidence in their academic interests.

3. Discover Real-World Applications Through Industry Visits

Understanding a subject goes beyond textbooks and classroom discussions. Students can benefit from seeing how their areas of interest connect to real industries and professional environments.

Industry visits provide opportunities to observe how organizations operate and how academic knowledge can be applied in practice. Depending on the field and program, these experiences may help students connect what they learn with possible future career paths.

For students planning to study abroad, this broader perspective can make academic exploration more meaningful.

4. Explore Summer Programs Across Four Destinations

For Summer School 2027, the destinations featured in Thames Education Expert’s program include the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, and Switzerland.

Students can explore the available programs and institutions based on their academic interests, preferred destination, and future plans.

Featured destinations and institutions include:

• United States: Barnard College (Columbia University) and IMG Academy in Florida.
• Australia: University of Sydney.

Program availability, eligibility, and specific learning experiences vary by institution and course. Students should confirm the details of their selected program before applying.

5. Get Guidance in Planning Your Summer Experience

Choosing the right summer program involves more than selecting a famous university or an attractive destination. Students should consider their intended major, academic readiness, interests, and long-term goals.

Thames Education Expert helps students explore suitable program options and understand which opportunities may align with their needs. Where available, guidance from senior students can also provide a valuable peer perspective on preparing for an international academic experience.
